The Western Kentucky Youth Camp is hosting its’ 5th annual golf tournament on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Deer Lakes Golf Course in Salem, Kentucky which is located on Highway 60 a short distance from the camp . We are asking for your help in making this year’s event successful.
Western Kentucky Youth Camp has served the churches of Christ for many years in providing a strong Christian atmosphere that leads to the spiritual growth of those who attend. This year alone over 1000 campers and staff attended WKYC. There is a need to raise funds for WKYC. These donations go for upkeep of the camp and future projects that would bless the camp. This year we are having our 5th annual WKYC Golf Tournament.
Our golf tournament begins with a shotgun start at 9:00 am and will be a one-day, four-person scramble (best ball format). A hole sponsorship may be purchased for $100, which includes you or your company’s name displayed on an attractive sign, or a team may be sponsored for $200. This entry fee includes green fees, cart rental and lunch. Team and individual prize donations are also needed to make this tournament a success.
This year the Tournament will be followed by a Fish Fry Lunch at WKYC immediately after the scramble. This should be around 2:00 pm. This fish fry is for anyone who would like to attend whether they have golfed or not.
